Tod Darcey serves as Vice President of Engineering/Acquisitions for Rooster Petroleum. He brings over 16 years of Operations Management experience being actively involved in all phases of offshore production, construction, and drilling with companies such as Chet Morrison Contractors L.L.C., McDermott, Offshore Pipelines Inc., and Maersk Drilling’s APMC Division. In addition, he has worked with Independent Oil companies as a Managing Consultant providing construction and production management services. He has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering as well as an Associate’s Degree in Safety from Nicholls State University.

Kenny Tamplain serves as the Vice President of Land and General Counsel. He has been an attorney since 1990 and formerly a partner with AmLaw 200 law firm having a commercial practice focusing on transactions that included representing clients in the development, finance, restructuring, purchasing and selling of energy assets and related projects. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Tamplain was an Independent Petroleum Landman for over 7 years involved in all aspects of oil and gas leasing, title examination and the development of producing and non-producing properties. He is also licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Michigan (inactive), a member of various state and national bar associations and a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen.

David A. Rudolph serves as Vice President of Operations. He is a Petroleum Engineer with over 29 years of production and operations experience in almost every domestic producing basin including the Gulf of Mexico. He has worked for both public and private energy companies with responsibilities for well planning, completion design and implementation, production and workover evaluations, field/reservoir studies, facilities design, environmental and cost control. He has a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering and a Masters of Science, Environmental Science from Ohio State University along with training in numerous industry schools.

Leslie Moore serves as Land Manager. She has over 32 years of experience in the oil and gas exploration and development business. She has worked as a Landman for various companies over the years, including Forney Oil Corporation, Hanson Minerals Company, Case Pomeroy, Hall-Houston Oil Company and Energy Partners, Ltd. Ms. Moore has worked properties in a number of states, primarily in Texas, South Louisiana and since 1990 primarily on the Gulf of Mexico. She has been a member of AAPL and HAPL since 1981 serving in various capacities as an Officer, Director and Committee Chair.

James D. Shockney, CPA, serves as Controller since August 2007. He came to Rooster Petroleum with 26 years of accounting experience primarily in the exploration and production segment of the oil and gas industry. Mr. Shockney has held numerous positions with Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation and Castex Energy, Inc. His experience includes all facets of accounting from internal audit, joint interest, budgeting and planning, financial reporting, and risk management as well as responsibilities for banking relations, Human Resources and Information Systems.
